Teaser Tuesday: Ender's Game

So this week's teasers are from Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card. I'm pretty sure I read this as a kid, but I remember next to nothing about it, so I wanted to re-read it before the film hit theaters. So far, I'm really enjoying it! :D

"Ender almost said, I want to. But he held his tongue. This would keep him out of school, but that was stupid, that was just a problem for a few days. It would keep him away from Peter--that was more important, that might be a matter of life itself. But to leave Mother and Father, and above all, to leave Valentine. And become a soldier. Ender didn't like fighting. He didn't like Peter's kind, the strong against the weak, and he didn't like his own kind either, the smart against the stupid."

    I read that one a couple months ago in preparation for the movie. The ending actually surprised me.

    This is a great quote from a great book Liesel. Ender gets his revenge in the end. That ending is brilliant Alex. I hope the movie doesn't spoil it.
