Thoughts for Thursday: The Importance of Art + Johnny Worthen's The Finger Trap
Before we get to T4T, a couple of orders of business:

Tony Flaner is a malingering, part-time comedian who is full of sarcasm and never finished a thing in his life. He’s had 12 years to prepare for his divorce and didn’t. He had his entire life to choose a career and hasn’t. Now time’s up, and he’s in a world of trouble. But all of that changes when Tony takes a first date to a drunken party and ends with him facing prison for the murder of a girl he hardly knew. To save himself, wise-cracking Tony must discover who the mysterious girl was, what she was involved in, and what the hell she saw in him in the first place.

Thoughts for Thursday is a meme where we share thoughts or quotes that we know or have recently come across. Each week there is a specific subject or theme. These can be quotes from books, quotes by famous people, (quotes by YOU, perhaps ;D). Anything from anywhere is game, though we do ask that you keep your quote to a few sentences at most. As today is the thirteenth anniversary of 9/11, I thought about doing something patriotic, but I've done similar things more than once. Instead, I think today is a day to remember. So, this week's theme is Remembrance!

For anyone who follows my LKHill blog, it's no surprise that I love mystery. I often post crime tidbits about very old cold cases. It combines my passions for history and mystery. Why are we all so intrigued by mystery in general? (Incidentally, Captain Picard once gave something of a speech about this.) On that note, this week's theme is Mystery!
